OA CALL-OUT CEREMONIES FOR NEWLY ELECTED MEMBERS
Call-out ceremonies were conducted at council camporees in April and May, to recognize the
newly elected members. OA call-out ceremonies will be conducted during the summer at Camp
Hiawatha and Bear Paw. Units attending an out-of-council camp can request a letter from the lodge adviser authorizing the OA at the camp you are attending, to call-out elected youth and selected
adult members. The OA callout ceremony is not required for a candidate to participate in the
Ordeal induction weekend.

WELCOME MEETINGS FOR NEWLY ELECTED
Newly elected youth and their parents were invited to attend an OA WELCOME MEETING on May
18th or 20th to learn more about the Ordeal induction weekend and how to prepare themselves to
attend one of the conferences. If a candidate was not able to attend one of the scheduled meetings,
you can contact the lodge adviser.
We will conduct additional Welcome Meetings in August before the August conference and in
September before the October conference.
