Arctic Adventure
Arctic Adventure, a winter adventure program for Venturers and Scouts with a variety of outdoor and indoor activities. The Okpik winter camping program is an option. A virtual day of Okpik winter camping training is planned more information on the date and zoom link will be sent. You can practice Okpik winter camping skills during your winter camping adventure at Arctic Adventure. You will have 3 weekend sessions to choose from, one of those weekends is also the new and exciting Ice Climbing adventure based at Camp Hiawatha in Munising MI!
Winter Amidships
WAM is a 1-day event for Scouts BSA Troops, Venture Crews, Sea Scout Ships, Explorer Posts, Girl Scout/Mariner Troops and American Heritage Girls Units or 4H. Youth participants must be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America (Troop, Crew, Ship, Post participant), or Girl Scouts-USA, or American Heritage Girls.
Events include Knots Relay, Compass Board Relay, Life Jacket Relay (youth and alumni/advisor), Heaving Line (youth and alumni/advisor), First Aid, Tug-of-War, International Code Flags, Obstacle Course, Super Bowl, Scooter Relay, Happy Feet Relay and other “Surprise” Event or two.
